I got H a cd (Doobie Bros Greatest Hits), a huge bag of Peanut M & M's, a box of V-day themed rice krispie treats, and a package of socks (ha).
I got T lots of books, stickers, and fruit snacks.
We are not doing anything to celebrate Valentine's day. I have class and we haven't talked about it at all. Neither of us really care about it.
AW: B baked me cookies yesterday for Valentine's Day.
I'm planning to get him a bottle of booze. Ha! No, he's been wanting to stock the bar and I was thinking chocolate liquer is kind of Valentines-y, right?
I have a board meeting tomorrow night, so... yeah, not much for plans. We might try to meet up for lunch, though.
The plan is for Henry to skip his nap so he goes down early for bed. Then I will make Mike a nice dinner and a Manhattan. We'll see how that goes.
Henry was quite taken with the heart balloons at the grocery store, so I will probably get him one with some chocolate.
I couldn't think of anything to get TH, so I am picking up Chinese for dinner. Then, I got him some chocolate covered fortune cookies and a bottle of wine. So bascially his gift is for me too.
I did get him a box of "vintage' Mike and Ikes.
We got the girls a chocolate dog and jelly beans ( I think, TH picked it up). We will have a little V-Day party at home after work tomorrow. Also also had a party yesterday with a friend and his little girl. We frosted cookies and I had the girls make cards for the dads.
We don't really celebrate. Right now the plan for tomorrow involves buying a bench at Target. Cue the romantic music.
Sometimes we'll cook for each other, I think I came home last year and he was hard at work cooking a lovely meal. The year before I made his favorite dessert (carrot cake) from scratch. We enjoy eating. :-)
Nothing this year. We went out to dinner last night. tonight I will make dinner: cheesesteaks, fries and corn on the cob. Yum Yum. I will also be baking chocolate lava cakes- in heart shapes no less.
We decided not to make a big deal. I got him a card.
No gifts for H and I. It'll be a normal Tuesday for us, nothing special.
I am making little baggies with a note for daycare kids though. I've got Teddy Grahams and gummy bears and will tie a note that says "Bear hugs to _____ From Renee"
Wop - The bear hug idea is so cute. Saving that for the future.

I got XN a Groupon to a new local pasta & sauces place. It will be delivered via email tomorrow. Thoughtful AND frugal...it's how I roll.
Nothing here - I bought Ben some new blocks at Meijer Thrifty today, so I'll pretend that was a gift for V-day haha. DH bought some ammo at ***'s today and I got a new hoodie at Costco, so I guess we will call those v-day gifts :P
SOOOO, when are we all invited over for dinner?
Seriously, any time you mention food I drool because it always sounds good.
We'll celebrate as a family on Wed (Jim has class tomorrow). We'll make heart shaped pizzas, and cake.
I made Meredith a heart shaped pancake with a pink heart in the middle. She got a Valentine's book and some new coloring sheets. My mom got her a few little things, too, including pink "eye goggles" aka binoculars so she can "hunt da deer" with her Boppy (grandpa).
TH got a "gift certificate" for dinner and a movie of his choosing with no complaining or objecting from me (I'm the worst movie watcher EVER).
I got a new alarm clock with a projector (mine broke and I've been searching for a new one!!) and a bead for my Pandora bracelet.
