what were your fave performances? least fave? loved katy perry's eff you to russell brand, i was amazed at adele, and i loved taylor swift getting a standing ovation. chris brown was terrible.
best dressed? worst dressed? there were a lot of good ones...i loved adele's dress, i thought alicia keys looked amazing, carrie underwood was gorgeous as always...but worst HAS to go to adam levine's girlfriend.
did you think they did the tribute to Whitney well? i hate jennifer hudson, so i didn't like it. and i think it's REALLY sh!tty they left etta james out of the in memoriam montage. i don't care that they had alicia keys and bonnie rait sing "sunday kind of love" earlier in the show as a tribute...SHE SHOULD STILL BE IN THE MONTAGE. especially if you managed to include the guy who invented album cover art.
any other thoughts? nicki minaj confuses me. but i love her.My Shopping Blog

what were your fave performances? least fave? I loved Adele and actually didn't mind Katy Perry for once. I usually can't stand her. I hated Nicki Minaj and that whole mess that ended with DeadMou5. I don't mind Taylor Swift, but had to laugh at DH's comment of "so, does she sing about everyone that pisses her off?" "Yes."
best dressed? worst dressed? Loved Carrie Underwood and didn't like what Taylor wore in her performance. I haven't looked at any of the red carpet dresses online yet.
did you think they did the tribute to Whitney well? all I saw was Jennifer Hudson's song. I liked it OK.
any other thoughts? Apparently I hate 90% of popular music. DH likes even less, so I don't feel so bad. Also, I've never heard of Bon Iver. I thought the announcer was calling him "Bonnie Bear."did you watch? No. Walking Dead mid-season premier + Family Guy recording, so we couldn't change the channel. I lived vicariously through Hales on FB though!
what were your fave performances? least fave? looking at the recaps today, fave = Adele's acceptance speech and Bruno Mars. worst = Mikki Manaj and Chris Brown lipsyncing
best dressed? worst dressed? best = Taylor Swift and Adele. Worst = Nikki Minaj (I really don't know WTH she was wearing all night) and I hated Katie Perry's hair, even though I love her.
did you think they did the tribute to Whitney well? yes, very. I esp loved LL Cool J giving a prayer to start off the show. It was appropriate timing.
any other thoughts? omg, The Walking Dead was so worth missing the Grammy's last night. Sherriff Rick is on B.A.M.F.

what were your fave performances? least fave? I kind of enjoyed the Glenn Campbell tribute.. and Glenn. Least fave, Nicki Minaj. Sorry Hayles but I was just disturbed.
best dressed? worst dressed? No one really stuck out to me one way or another. Carrie Underwood looked gorgeous. Lady Gaga's face thing was weird, but she is Lady Gaga... so I guess it works for her? And I agree with Hayley on Adam Levine's girlfriend. That's terrible!
did you think they did the tribute to Whitney well? I thought it was fine. I thought Jennifer Husdon did a nice job. I do have to say, when I become a famous Grammy winner, I hope I die tragically the day before the Grammy's so I can have multiple tributes to me at the Grammys. I mean, if Amy Winehouse died the day before Grammys, would it be all Amy? Of course, Whitney and Amy are a bit different levels... but I am just saying.
any other thoughts? Adele is too cute. And ummm... I hate to ask this, but who is Bon Iver?Going through the pictures on Yahoo from last night.. a couple WTF looks...

best dressed? worst dressed? best - I really can't remember. adele looked good. worst - jennifer hudson. i mean she looks great these days but that dress was ill-fitting for her tribute song. it made her look lumpy in the hips.
