I am also a YEY! I have a civics class for seniors I teach this semester and that is the first thing we talked about. Of course, I don't get to say my opinion but they were so level headed, bringing up all sides and possible opposition points to it. I had a very proud teacher moment when they put it to a vote and said they'd all pass it when they vote in November.
I agree. It will definitely get put onto the ballot in November. I just hope there are a lot of people out there like my students who generally felt "what does it matter to me if someone gets married to someone they love".
This. I am really glad I updated my voter registration card in December.

Totally agreed with this. If I have enough time/energy to do some political volunteer work this season, I'll probably devote it to this.
