non clicky poll: what do you want for tomorrow?
what do you really want for valentine's day?? don't lie.

we're having twins!
Re: non clicky poll: what do you want for tomorrow?
i really want flowers. i don't think h will get me any, but that is what i REALLY want. and i'm excited for the dinner h is making me.
even if it's super simple.
Yeah, James hates VD. He thinks it's all about the girl, even though I usually get him something.
This year, we bought a TV after Christmas, and agreed that would be our VD gifts to each other. We went to Outback tonight with a gift card, and that's it. I bought Tillman some york peppermint patties (his favorite) and that is that.
I wouldn't mind getting some chocolates tomorrow and James knows I love orange roses, but I have zero expectations.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

My Blog
I told DH what I wanted, flowers and See's milk chocolate bordeaux chocolates.
I think I'll be getting both.

I would just like something. I don't really care what. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive....just something sweet that he thinks I'll like.
Silly boy waited until today to try to make reservations for V-day. The only times he could get would be either 5pm or 4pm. Since we're not 75, I told him not to worry about it, and we'll just eat at home. I do appreciate, though, that he agreed that we should just go out to dinner on Wednesday instead.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
Nothing.
We don't really do Valentine's by mutual preference. Neither of us are into it. We're pretty big on spontaneous spoiling of one another.
And I'm stopping by Cupcake Royale for my own Deathcakes tomorrow when I drop the dog off at doggie daycare, so what could he do to top that?
I am looking forward to doing silly fun things for the kids - both are old enough to be excited for Valentines and I do love the childish fun of it with them.
I want a fitbit.
DH already said he didn't get me a card. *cries*
Totally impractical but I really want to be surprised by something. Nothing big, just something that takes thought and effort. I was never one to care about VD (teehee) but I totally want Sonething special this year!
I am going to try to buy DH the soda stream. He wants one so much!
Because of our 'plan' he made reservations at a restaurant a month ago (at the Met, which I am not thrilled about, but I'm still happ he showed such early initiative). And I think I will be getting flowers and a heart shaped box of Frans truffles tomorrow.
He was supposed to bus home today, but got home abnormally late, which could be explained by delayed buses (since buses are always run super duper late when the waether sucks), but I noticed the car is not parked where I put it earlier so... >.>
Ha! My DH this morning asked me when Walgreen's opens - I asked if he just wanted one of the cards I bought.
I hope you get your fitbit, emy! Mine has totally changed the way I do things and now I am looking for excuses to walk places. Last night I went to the gym with DH (even though I had already gone yesterday morning) and just walked on the treadmill for an hour. Saturday and Sunday I went out for long walks when I normally would have stayed home. I am moving so much more than usual which will only help me get in better shape. If you get one lmk and we can be fitbit friends!
I am 99% (actually more like 110%) sure I know what DH got me. He is terrible at keeping secrets. It is a bracelet (thanks Emy for the link!).
