I bought him chocolate. He bought me jewelry and flowers. We exchanged cards. We went to dinner. We came home and drank wine, then we had sex.
Pretty standard stuff, same as every year. No rainbows, no glitter, no unicorns.
The Valentine's day that he proposed. We went to a wine and cheese thing at a local pottery painting (craft) place. Painted some cups. After that he took me to the park where we got busted for "parking" early in our dateing life. Then he got down on one knee and proposed. I thought it was sweet.
