Vent/Whine: Weekend
Thursday, daycare called and said DS was sick so I left work early and took him to the Dr. Then I started feeling sick myself. Friday, I agonized over whether or not to go to work and I ended up working from home while DH took care of DS at home. DS's fever spiked and we had to call for an antibiotic. Saturday morning, DH woke up with food poisoning so we handed DS off to ILs in the parking lot of the ER and spent the day in the hospital. And we had to cancel our date night we had planned for that night. Sunday, DH was still feeling bad so he spent the day in bed while I took care of DS. He was okay most of the day but by the evening he became absolutely inconsolable. We tried everything and neither of us can remember him being like this ever before. Finally, a bottle helped and he went to bed. This morning, DS had had a blowout over night and woke up covered in poop. And I'm exhausted because I've been sick too but haven't been able to take care of myself. We really really need to catch a break! I'm actually relieved to be at work today, which is saying a lot!

you should make R come home for the weekend to watch DS and let you two relax.

Yes, the Dr found a 5th tooth that she said looked like it just broke through that day (Thurs) so I'm sure that's contributing!
