As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Doctor Vent
Today I had my evaluation appointment for LASIK. I made the appointment about a month ago, and this was the first available date they had. It was a disaster from the start.
Because of traffic, it took me about 45 min to get there, which I expected, but it's still a long way out of my way. When I showed up, their parking lot was full, so I had to park on the street. No big deal, whatever. I get there, fill out my paperwork, take a seat. Half an hour after my scheduled appointment time, not a single person in the packed waiting room has been called back, so I asked them how long they thought it would be. They said an hour and a half. Um, what?? 2 hours in your waiting room so that I could see the doctor for 12 minutes, and then pay you literally thousands of dollars for Lasik? No, thank you. He was not called into an emergency surgery or anything. This is "just the way he is." Mind you, they did not warn me that he was running late when I called 45 min before my appointment. Guess I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'm just pissed that I wasted 2 hours out of my work day on that.
