Celebrations At The Bay
Does anyone have experience with this venue? A good friend of the family (he's like a brother) is very close to signing a contract to have his wedding here, and I just wanted to see if anyone had any good/bad things to say. Thanks.

Me!! We fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and we both knew right away we wanted to get married there. It was expensive, that was the big downside. But the food was amazing, it included the open bar and they kept drinks going all night, and I have the most beautiful wedding pictures.
Also, they are really really nice. At the time I was getting ready to sign the contract I was dealing with losing my grandmother to Alzheimers. The owner that showed me the place and had answered all my questions donated $250 in her name to the Alzheimers Association. This was before I had even signed a contract.
They seriously covered every detail so I didn't even need a separate wedding planner. They had some online thing you could log into and keep track of your vendors and all sorts of details which was really cool. I would assume they still have that.
I loved them. I got so many compliments on my wedding and so many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the food was incredible. So yes, I recommend them 100%.
