I just ran 3 miles in 23 mins 5.9 seconds! To put this into perspective, when I started running for soccer in high school (and was in "the best shape of my life" body fat %-wise) I ran a 5k in 35 mins. I have run off and on since then with a few injuries, but to shave over 10 minutes off of a 3 mile run is incredible for me. I am ecstatic!

Thanks! I think I'm probably +3 since the last time I updated my ticker, but definitely still 20 down (at least). Hopefully the last few lbs will come off during my 1/2 marathon training!

Yeah, that was me the last time I went to the doctor, too! I've gained a little bit since Thanksgiving and have been lazy in doing anything about it...plus I always weigh myself REALLY early and totally naked so I'm always fatter at the dr's, hahaha!

that is obviously the correct way to do it! I'm consulting with my new doc on Thursday to review blood work and questionnaires that I filled out so I'm prepping for a few months of really forced healthy. Needless to say I'm indulging a little bit because I know that it's coming.
That's awesome! I know how hard it is to try to decrease your time!
Way to go!
I only ever weigh myself first thing in the morning and naked. It's totally the way you're supposed to do it!
