birth control issues?

so, a little back story. i had mirena for about 6 months but had it removed about 1 1/2 weeks ago because i had just awful side effects from it. i immediately started back on the pill the same day the mirena was removed. But.... for the last week or so, i have been nauseous ( like all day) super hungry, tired all the time, and had some frequent headaches.

I cant decide if these symptoms are from stress or hormones. how likely is it that im pregnant? did anyone else have a similar experience after mirena removal?

Re: birth control issues?

  • POAS. If you are having symptoms you should get a positive if you are indeed pregnant. If its negative then you know your not and it could be the switching of the BC. HTH!

  • take a test if your worried.  But i will tell you when i got off bc i thought i was pregnant too, my face broke out, i was hungry and nauseous etc.  and when i got back on it the same thing happened.  Thats what we get for messing around with our hormones.
  • Those are pretty standard side effects of the pill, especially for the first couple of months.
