Introduction - new to The Nest
Just wanted to make a quick introduction - I'm new on here...
BF and I live in Florida, NY.. we have just started making plans to update his house. Chances are we'll end up selling and move to Rockland.. but in the meantime, it is our home so we're making it more 'ours'. Over the past few months, we have done SOME painting to cover up the (dark!) colors his ex-wife chose throughout the house. We have someone coming in a couple of weeks to re-do the kitchen cabinets, and counter-tops... I'm trying to figure out ways to maximize the space in the kitchen...
My BF has 7 year old triplets :-) from his previous marriage. We plan on being married within the next year, and adding on to our family :-) I recently had a miscarriage from my first pregnancy.. so I made the move from thebump.com to thenest.com for the time being to focus on other things :-)
I just wanted to introduce myself. We're mainly up in Orange County... but I work Rockland, he works in NYC.

its funny you mentioned the mouse because my DH just found a dead one that my cat must have killed the other day. We couldn't figure out why he was crying to go in the basement and now we know why. YUCK!

Very sorry for your loss. I hope you are doing better. The DH and i live in ulster but I commute to NYC and he owns his own business which has him everywhere.
3 bonus kids! how wonderful for you. i hope your renovations go smoothly. Our home has been a work in progress and labor of love.
