I went to refill my BCP prescription, and found it had gone from costing $30 for a 3-month supply to $126! Yikes.
Then I found out that a generic of my bill had become available recently. So, I called my doc and requested a script for the generic instead. Phew.
Re: Yikes!
Close call!
And, I'm jealous that yours is $30 for a 3-month supply. That's amazingly cheap! Mine is $25 a month and I thought that was pretty decent.
That's not good at all!! At least you can do the generic!! When I switched from generic to namebrand I went from $30/3 months to $90/3 months.
I am prescribed Kroger's Tri-Nessa for $8/month. (but I refill every 3 months). My Dr. said to not go through insurance, because it'd be more expensive.
Gah. You guys are lucky!
Unfortunately, I don't have much of a choice. I've had reactions to several brands and the one I'm on right now (Beyaz) is finally working for me.
wow, that is quite a jump!!
I'm glad you have an alternative, that's crazy! They should be required to give us 30 days notice before major price hikes in necessities like that, for real.
Holy crap, that's a huge increase!
I pay around $30 for 3 months for mine.
