Ohhh no a grown man has to sit in a hotel alone the whole time for a week.
I think angels might sing if I got a week alone in a hotel room right about now.
I used to be a consultant, that meant a lot of travelling.
There was a 3 month stretch where I was commuting 2 1/2 hours away on Monday morning and coming back at about 2 on Thursday afternoon. I was living in a Marriott within walking distance from a Y (where I was a member at the time). There was amazing food. I didn't have many responsibilities at work.
It was 3 months of long weekends, working out whenever I wanted, eating whatever I wanted and getting paid a per diem. 4 days of light work and no housework followed by 3 days of freedom every week.
It was heaven.
lol H is going on business soon. He is sad to be away from us but at the same time is looking forward to "business sleep". Basically just getting some time to himself in the hotel room with no interruptions is nice for him.
Now if only there was a way for this to happen for me that would be kind of nice.
