AW: Feel so lucky today.
I'll start by saying that I haven't ever really been into VD, and I would not have been offended if we didn't celebrate it at all. Having said this, I posted last night about FI bringing home a card from Quinn and a rose and chocolate from himself. The card from Quinn made my week! I hadn't even thought about it being my first VD as a mom. Well, this morning my best friend who I hadn't seen in about a week knocked on my door with no warning with my favorite drink from The Woods (Peppermint Mocha-Yummm) I just feel so lucky to have the family and friends that I do. Especially after being so irritated with my F a couple weeks ago, sweet little things like this help me to remember the good things. I hope everyone else is having a wonderful Valentines day!

thank you! i still think it's a boy, and don't think it'd be fair to our little boy to have to buy some girl dinner on his birthday every year, so i'm happy holding out another day!
