I received a small box of chocolates from one of my students. The only thing stopping me from eating the whole thing in one sitting? I haven't been alone in my room...but I am now!

Re: V-Day Confessions?
My MIL ran up on a median and ruined two of her wheels this morning because she wasn't paying attention and was messing with her phone. She is fine, just a little embarrassed and shaken.
I admit that, after I heard she was okay, my first thought was that I hope now she will pay attention to her driving. I refuse to ride long distances in the same car if she's driving because she just doesn't pay attention! It's scary!
I wish I could be a 50s Husband (minus the pen!s and kids)
I just want to work/go to school and come home to a sparkling clean house, dinner on the table, and the dogs fed (and maybe a backrub lol)
This has been going on for over a month, not limited to just today's events:
I want to play matchmaker with a couple of my single friends and the guy is kind of being wishy washy about it now. He said he was interested at first but now he won't work with me on nailing down a date to introduce them and is playing like his schedule is way busy. Meanwhile she's all "he's still interested, right? I can come down any time" etc, so I am trying not to get her hopes up too much in case he keeps acting aloof. Grrrrr, playing cupid is hard, yo!
I am taking today off. . .no studying, no running, no sculpt. Tomorrow is another day.
Well, I might pay the bills but that is about it.
MH surprised me this morning with a tulip plant and a teddy bear. I adore tulips. I'm not a fan of teddy bears, especially not those holding big red hearts that say "Happy Valentine's Day". He'll only ever know the former. I will keep that bear forever.
My H and I have never really done anything for V-day, except for maybe a card or sexy texts. This year I got a card for him, and left it under his coffee cup. When he came to pick me up from work to take him to his dr appointment, he showed up with lillies. They are beautiful and smell wonderful! I don't know why he actually did something for V-day, but it was so sweet!!
(Despite calling me a PITA for being anti-roses!)
What's wrong? Need a hug?
Very much so. Thank you
BIG **hugs** I hope you're evening is better than your day, and that your night is amazing!!!
Might want to try some advil - aleve is only supposed to be 2/8hrs.
you can do advil 4/4hrs + aleve should work. since it's a muscle, the advil should help with the inflammation.
Resourceful!
