Do you fear or embrace getting older?

A little of both. I'm excited for the new things that are coming my way and what I'll be able to do in the future. But then I also feel the pressure of making sure that I'm accomplishing all that I want to, and realizing that there may not actually be enough time to do absolutely everything I want to do. More than anything the fear i have is for my parents getting older.

Like Brie, I more fear my parents getting older (and my grandmas). I generally embrace getting older and don't think too much of it.

I embrace it. Getting older never bothered me. The only time I was bothered was my first Christmas when I was around 12 where I didn't get toys, I got clothes. You know, the first 'grown up' Christmas. I cried and cried that day.

I absolutely fear it. I get very sad thinking about my mom getting older and other people I love getting older. I really don't enjoy my birthdays anymore because as I get closer to 30, I just think about all the stuff I still want to do in life and it sends me into a panic. I know it's irrational, but I can't help it!

I fear getting older because it means that others around me will be older also. I don't want to see my parents get older.

A little of both. I embrace it because I'm excited for things to come in my life. I fear it though because as others have said it means others are getting older too. I worry about getting cancer like my mom did and not being able to live a long life.
