I am so torn about the Ivy getting the role! I am loving the character development...and the songs.

I loved the scene where they read the adoption letters outloud- and you could see her husband listening. I hope it works out for them.

Yeah, I was actually surprised. I sort of thought Karen would get the part. Oddly enough, Karen would be great as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. I wonder if that's what they're angling for since they seem to keep mentioning the husband's play.

I was surprised too. I also thought that perhaps they are going to use her in My Fair Lady. I also thought that maybe someone will find out that Ivy and the director slept together and it will cause a riff and Ivy will be replaced by Karen.

I too thought think that is bound to come out at some point. But I never considered Karen being in My Fair Lady. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Call me a cynic, but an actress sleeping with a director would hardly be a scandal within the entertainment biz.

This, except I think they'd throw something like a pregnancy in there to really shake it up. I don't think her sleeping with him would be reason enough for her to forfeit the role.

I'm glad Karen's boyfriend waited for her leaving the restaurant and took her hand. It was starting to feel a little too "Devil Wears Prada" where the guy can have a good job but the second the girl starts succeeding he can't handle her having things she needs to do.
