Target brand Swiffers?

Anyone buy these? both the dusters and the floor kind? I bought the dusters years ago and they were terrible, wondering if anyone has a recent experience with them as my huge pack of swiffer pads just ran out...

oh my god, I'm officially a housewife posting questions about cleaning.

Re: Target brand Swiffers?

  • I have not bought this specific item. However, I buy a lot of the Up & Up brand and really like everything I have used. In fact, some items I find to be better than the name brand. For example, I think the Up & Up freezer zip top bags are way better than Ziplock brand. So, I would probably give it a try. Maybe buy a smaller package to try out?

  • Are you talking about the wet ones? Yah, I bought those and they do suck. It is weird b/c I am usually happy with the Target UP&UP brands on other things. These just do not cut it for me.

BTW-I could talk about cleaning too :-)

I actually have the wet ones and agree they suck...I tried the duster refills (like feather duster thingies) and they were not good either but it was years ago before "up and up"

Jo, I actually had an opposite experience with the baggies, but it was just sandwich baggies - they all basically ripped as you opened them (since they come sealed for some stupid reason)...that was a few years ago and I've always bought brand name for things like baggies and garbage bags...but maybe I'll give them another shot.

That's interesting. I've always had good luck with Up & Up. I only buy freezer bags, though. Never regular baggies (I just don't use them). I stick with name brand trash bags, too.
