SF: I suck at SF

Okay y'all, tonight I'm taking my cc's out of my wallet and stashing them at home. I do not need to be permitted to shop online at work anymore.

Right now I have out TWO Old Navy orders (one of El stuff, and then I found another coupon in my wallet so I ordered a dress and a scarf for myself), a Zoya order (BOGO polish), and a Target order (I went to order some Assets and wound up also ordering two dresses and a cardigan.)

The only thing I've done right is NOT order the BOGO Julep polish because it was a minimum of a $14 purchase, plus $4 shipping, and $18 for two polishes didn't seem jusifiable.

Other than that? I suck.

  • PUT THE CCs DOWN!!!!  You are supposed to be paying them off, not putting more money on them! Shame, shame, shame.  *crosses arms, taps foot and gives disapproving glare*

  • :whispers: I spent more than Ames today.  But I didn't buy nail polish or clothes.  I bought a hair dryer.  And a Clarisonic.  Does it help if I got really good deals on both things?  And if I am only spending 20% of a bonus due to arrive in 8 days and the rest will go into savings?  I promise I don't have a CC balance.

No! I think I'm going to have to practice tough love on you ladies! If you don't need it, even if you have a coupon, get a bonus, 3 million dollars fall from the sky or elephants fly, a spending freeze is a spending freeze! Meaning not spending it! No excuses! *shakes finger and storms out of the room*

  • I was almost sucked in by the free Julep polish.  But by the time I found somehting else to purchase, added shipping, it was no longer worth the "free" polish.  I resisted!!!

But I did buy myself a half lb of sangria chocoaltes at the chocolate shop when I went to buy Scott's Vday gift.  He got 1/2 lb of cinnamon chocolate covered pecans, I got a 1/2 lb of sangria chocolate.

Nail polish I can resist.  Sangria chocolate I cannot.

    *hangs head in shame*

You really must.  They are AMAZING.  Imagine a cosmo and a margaraita had a love child.  That is the blood orange margarita.

  • You and I both need to step away from the cards. I just renewed my sirius radio in my car and put it on my cc Embarrassed

I really should just cut up my last card but for some reason I just simply can't do it.

  • So I'm way behind the times and have been wondering was "SF" stood for.  I get it!  I so need to join but know it's impossible until after Alex's birthday andplusalso I just had an emergency dentist appointment this morning because part of one of my fillings fell out Monday and I'm going to need a crown on it and on the tooth next to it.  I do have good dental insurance but it's still going to cost around $1000 for the work which will go on a card because we do not have the cash right now - not until we get our tax return back.  I hate teeth.

I feel you here, sister. I've had a ton of work done in the past year and have paid around $1500 out of pocket. It SUCKS. And now Guy needs work done too.

    Being a grown up blows.

Most definitely.  Joel needs work done too.  I just hate spending that kind of money on teeth.  I get that it obviously needs to be done and I'm all about investing in our health, but $1,000..?! Really?!  It'd be much nicer to redo our bathroom with that chunk of change!
