Just another day in the office
Our director was caught for OUI last night so the Gov. asked him to resign today, that was at about 11:00 this morning.
Our new director just arrived, he was the communications director at the Govs office (took over for the guy who had to resign because he wasn't paying taxes and was a slum lord and was outed by the media after a tenant burned down his building) and put his resignation in at the Govs office a week ago.
Sooooo. In a year we have gone through four directors.
And the ship will be completely sunk in July anyway.
**sigh**
Re: Just another day in the office
Dang!
How is there not a reality show about your office, yet?
Seriously, though-- are you worried?
Are they shutting you guys down in July??

Yeah, of the 30 of us only 9 are losing their jobs. Not a great percentage but at least not all of us will.
It is proposed that my program go to Economic and Community Development, a good fit.
At least you're not bored
No, really that sucks!
For some reason I read this story and the one about the high school coach/teacher posting nude pictures on fb and meshed the details together. The story in my head was much different.
It sucks to be dealing with all of that change, it can't be good for the office atmosphere.
My goodness! I hope that the ship finds a good captain that will stick around at least through the end at this point. I'm glad that they have a new home for you come July though! Hopefully that office is more stable.
Based on the rumor mill, I know someone who went to a school where he was a teacher. Apparently this was only the straw that broke the camels back and not the guy's first indiscretion. Now, whether the other rumors ever went to the police is another thing. But the guy has a shady past.
