AWing my students
I usually don't talk too much about my students on here, but I needed to just share how awesome a few of them are today. We have been having some major issues with cyber bullying in our school lately (or really, it's happening at home but spilling into school). Recently some nasty comments have been posted on Facebook making fun of some kids and 20 other students jumped on the commenting bandwagon. These students are all now being dealt with, but what I am AWing are three of my students who commented on the post telling students that they were bullying and that posting these comments was wrong...and then they brought it to our principal's attention. It takes guts to stand up like that to your peers and I am so proud of them!
