Really stupid question

Where would one buy a postcard of the city you live in? I need one, and I struck out at all the places I thought of.

See, I said it was stupid.

Re: Really stupid question

  • A rest stop.

edit: or the airport but that wont work unless you're flying soon.

  • Or a bookstore. Or they might have them at a grocery store in the card section.
  • Drug stores usually have a small section of cheesy souvenirs and postcards.

  • ...I'm probably not the best person to answer this question.  Uhhh, Grand Central? Any street corner?  Wink

But yeah, in the real world, I'd say a rest stop, gas station, any folksy restaurant with a gift shop, train station, etc.

  • The I Love Minnesota store in the crystal court of the IDS center downtown has bunches and you could pick it up over lunch tomorrow.

    Otherwise MOA has bunches.

I am assuming you are looking for the Twin Cities.......

  • Thanks, kmpls. I'd totally forgotten about the Minnesota store in the IDS. Hmm.... that could give me an excuse to walk over to Ginelli's for lunch.
