RHBH Reunion Part 3- Kim
So who believes Kim went to rehab only for being an alcoholic? I don't. First off, I don't recall EVER seeing her drink on camera. She always had her iced coffee, unless there was liquor in there? But at gatherings I never so her w/ wine or a cocktail. That would be some serious self control for an alcoholic to not drink. Also, I don't think she or Kyle would ever admit that it might have been a drug addiction too.
Thoughts?

I'm just watching the reunion now. Dana just said that she's from Methuen, Massachusetts, my home town. Can you say Twenty Five Thousand??? I knew that accent was familiar! 8)
I thought there were some scenes over the last two seasons where she was drinking, Not out of control drinking, but wine at dinner type drinking. I think she's still on some script meds which make her loopy, esp. when mixed with drinking, not really any hard drugs like crystal meth or heroin. Maybe some cocaine.
Most importantly, though, did you get a look at Mauricio's crack?!? Yowza!!
I said this on ML, but I'll say it again, it was SO obvious Kim only went to rehab because the producers forced her to. When she was telling Andy "I hope you know how serious I am about this" over and over...omg just so obvious.
Also, remember the finale last season? She was definitely intoxicated. I really think it's more than just alcohol and hello, why is she even drinking when she's taking all this other prescription medicine????
I know that she's had a drink a bunch fo times - she was drunk at the party at Lisa's friend's house last season (the one with the HUGE house where they set Kim up with that random guy) and she has at least a glass of champagne at Adrienne's dinner party the first episode of this season.
I only watched part of it last night, but she seemed REALLY out of it from what I saw - eyes not all the way open, zoned out, etc. Just odd.
I don't think she's sincere either. Her reactions seem so fake and strange, and she does seem to still not be completely with it (like 'perky' or fully alert, I can't think of a better word). And she still seems on edge with Kyle.
I agree with the pp, I just wish she were off the show. She is just getting annoying now, being nasty to people, nasty to Kyle. Maybe Kyle is so pressured by promising her mother that she would take care of kim, but maybe she just needs to let things go a little bit, focus on her own kids and let Kim make her own mistakes.

Also, I hate that she really is not owning up to anything. Not watching the show because she didn't want to see her actions? Looking at Andy's clips of herself in the limo and saying, "I feel sorry for her." Part of recovery is taking ownership and I don't think she understands this. I hope I'm wrong.
Don't bring her back, Bravo!
I could not handle the Kim part, it was too painful to watch. She's so bitter to me for some reason. I watched about half and fast forwarded the rest.
I liked Adrien but it seemed like she has a lot of animosity with the other ladies that came to light at the reuinion. And while I feel bad for Taylor because I do think Russell was abusive it disturbs me that she was so worried about her palce in BH society and not her dauther's well being.
