Back in the fall I was dating this guy I shall call him Natt. Natt and I met at a benefit my buddy D throws every September and I was just an extra helping hand and running gate and Natt works for a company that was hosting a booth - his boss being one of the main faces in the local music world.
I was over at his booth talking to one of his coworkers who has been a social friend of mine over the years and Natt just thinks I'm the funniest thing since Johnny Carson and spends the whole weekend following me around. By the end of the second night he got my number and we made plans to see eachother the next weekend.
So we dated for a couple of months (which is HUGE for me) and things started out great. He was always calling, making plans, a gentleman, introduced me to all his friends, etc. Then he started acting suspect; blamed it on work/being sick.
Then one night, about a week before Thanksgiving, I go to a show with a few friends and Natt is there and won't dance with me because he's there with... his exgf. Needless to say I stopped talking to him cold turkey.
This morning I got a lovely text message that said: "Hey, its Natt. I just wanted to apologize for being a shi++y dude. It wasn't cool the way I blew you off for my ex. Turns out she did the same thing to me and it sucks. I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry ... Totally hope this is still your number"
Inner monologue screamed "KARMA"
I guess some guys get mopey on V-Day too
