Good morning, everyone!
It was really nice. They had a "reservation list" and we both ordered the chicken from the V-Day menu. It was 2 pieces of grilled chicken, salad, hashbrowns, TX toast and a dessert for $11.50. The table had a red tablecloth, and all the lights were covered in pick wrapping! It was so cute

i've always been kind of curious about this. maybe next year! kat, did they have a vegetarian option by chance?

sent...ask away!
uuuuurgh. I really cannot remember. I don't think so on the V-Day menu. It was chicken, pork, steak or kids meal options on the special menu. That's all I recall.

What do you mean? Maybe I just don't get it b/c I'm never on FB and don't have timeline... Should I not switch to timeline? Me confuzed.
oh no, it really has nothing to do with timeline. though i do find timeline kind of annoying. i was just looking back on older years and saw stuff my friends posted that reminded me of fun stuff we used to do and also noticed they used to post stuff that was actually witty or interesting. and that's a big change from what i see on my newsfeed these days. it's not set up like the bump or anything. i just see a lot of posts about what their kids did/said that day (which isn't really interesting to anyone but them IMO) or people discussing poop. for ex: my cousin used to always post interesting articles but now she just keeps uploading videos like almost daily of random things her kids do that make me
. so i feel like facebook is turning into mommybook but that could just be me since we all have different friends.
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
I have noticed that the general IQ of FB posts have gone down. I think part of that is my friends are getting older and have very different lives from when we were crazy single 20-somethings. The other part is everyone mom is on FB, so that has an immediate censoring affect. Also, we now know that our FB pages are not nearly as secure or private as they once were (or thought they were), most people are hesitant to put anything out there that is interesting/controversial/private/juicy.
Oh, in that case, I totally agree. Why do I care that your kid had another blowout today? Why do you feel the need to share this information with the entire FB world?
