recommend your face care products

My skin has changed considerably with pregnancies. I am looking for a face wash and moisturizer. And if you have a foundation rec that would great. It is really dry but by the end of day my tzone is an oily mess. Thanks!

Re: recommend your face care products

  • I love Neutrageena, or the Target equivalent facial moisturizer.  It works well at making my face feel smooth and moist, without being oily.  I have a bottle of Aveeno to try, but haven't gotten to it yet.  I also like the Aveeno face wash.

  • For skin care I swear by Beauticontrol, which is the only thing that keeps my skin looking fresh and keeps a good handle on my acne problems.  For foundation, I love Mary Kay Timewise, though.  It gives a nice even coverage without looking caked on.

  • I started using Beauticontrol a few months ago and I have been amazed at how much better my skin has been. I bought some because my aunt was having a party and I felt a little obligated to get something. Since then my sister decided to start selling the products and now I have someone that I can reorder with!

ETA: Didn't mean for that to sound like a sales pitch for their products. Just my honest review...

  • I am a Clinique girl for my skin care, I have used it since I started wearing make-up and still love it. I only use some of their make-up and don't wear foundation.
  • I don't know what you're looking to spend - but I would suggest going into Sephora (Jordan Creek - not Valley West).  I had always thought my face was oily, so ever since I was a teenager, I've bought oil-free stuff.  Turns out, my face is beyond hydrated.  The girls at Sephora were able to give me sample after sample after sample, until I finally found products that work.

I love the Philosophy line - especially the moisturizer.  I use Korres mineral powder for foundation, and love it as well.

    Good luck!

  • I use Norwex products. Face & neck gel as a toner, serum, & day/night cream.
