NSOR Psychics?
For fun and out of curiousity, do any of you believe in psychics/tarot readers/etc?
I have a few friends that read. One is very very accurate. I am not hardcore by any means, but I do like to have my cards read from time to time.
What are your thoughts?

I don't necessarily "believe" in it per se, but think there can be an element of truth to it. Some people are gifted to see into the future, but others are just crooks looking to prey on gullible people.

This. I hate to be a Negative Nancy, maybe I'm more of a Realistic Ruth...but when I see a horoscope, I look at every month and find that I can read the paragraph and see myself in there. I just don't buy anything along those lines.
Regardless if I really believe this or not, I don't want to know my future in advance. I believe there is a reason to live in the moment and not think of the future and the past. What if someone got a reading that they could not handle.
I think that psychics are more useful as a tool to reveal your deepest wishes.
If you like what they tell you, that is what you truly want, and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.
If you don't like what they say, you actively make changes in your life to avoid that future and say that the psychic was wrong.
I have had some truly revealing readings from a couple of psychics over the years.
