Help me dress for a wedding on Friday
Since I've gained weight, I don't have many dresses that fit right now. I have a wedding to go to on Friday and I might try to buy a whole new dress at that resale shop I like so much, but I'd rather reuse something I already own.
These two dresses still fit, but they seem too "summery" and I don't know if I can "winterize" them.

I also have this skirt, which I could wear with my black knee-high boots, but I'm unsure of a top that would work with it. In case you can't tell, it's calf length, pleated, gray, has white pinstripes, and a black chifon ruffle at the bottom.

Any suggestions?
Re: Help me dress for a wedding on Friday
I don't have very many suggestions for winterizing your dresses, but I wanted to say I love that grey skirt!! I could see pairing it a halter top like this, or something similar:
I have a royal purple shirt that has the same lines as this, but ties in a big bow at the side of the neck rather than being a halter. Do you think that would work?
This is a great idea and I already have all of these things in my closet! I'll try it together tonight. Thanks!
I think it would look good with grey! I would just add some sort of colored top to contrast the grey, and purple would be just fine, I say.
I know! However you're beautiful and we reserve the right to let you know.
You have to PIP your outfit when you go out!
I like this suggestion.
