Where would you go at the end of April?
Every birthday we take a "birthday trip" - DH's is coming up in April. We'll have 4-5 days for this trip. We went to Europe last year when I worked for an airline. I don't work for an airline anymore so we have to travel like "normal people."
Anyway, I'm thinking a stateside/Caribbean vacation would be good, though we just went to the Bahamas last week. DH is pretty non-committal about locations right now.
Any suggestions? I bought up a Santa Barbara wine trip, Vegas, the Dominican Republic, etc. He likes them all but I think he's too busy with work to put a lot of effort into it. He also may be thinking of saving more money with our summer vacation and doing a weekend away. (We live in NYC).
I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.
Re: Where would you go at the end of April?
Santa Barbara sounds nice, or what about Napa Valley/Sonoma?
Vegas is always good in my books
How about Puerto Rico?
Turks and Caicos. It is a non-stop flight from JFK.
Playa del Carmen -- after Easter Break when all the crowds are gone.
New Orleans for Jazz Fest - absolute best time to go!
what about staying closer to home? sleepy hollow is super close to the city but feels far away. rhinebeck and lake george are further north but beautiful options for a getaway weekend. or the north fork wineries?
newport (RI) or boston aren't too far either.
sniqueaway often has boston and newport deals for hotels too.
