Anxiety lodged in my throat
Stupid caffeine. It's making me jumpy and isn't helping the weird panicky feeling.
I got the okay for taking vacation time next month and as of right now, I'm going on a journey to Vegas alone. Blah. In a moment of nervousness re: the situation, I mentioned it to someone I've been seeing for around a month now. He said sounds fun, but next month is busy with work and some other things. I hope he doesn't think I'm a Stage 5 Clinger now.
Slap me out of this weird mood.

Where is your confidence, lady? You are just going to keep doing your thing and plan your trip and show him that you are not a clinger by not being one. Don't give it a second thought.
Are you going to be ok financially if you take this trip? What happened to your plan to move back to your hometown?
It's passed. lol.
There was a wave of "alll byyyy myyyseeeeelf". Good thing it only lasted for a few hours.
I'll be okay financially - the union I belong to finally made an agreement with my workplace, and as a result I'm getting a raise and a retro'd lump sum going back a ways. I'm using some of the extra money for vacation
It'll still be on the cheap, but I won't feel guilty about finally going on a trip.
Plus, if I do find someone to go with, some things will be split.
