really great episode, loved the pranks, but mostly loved John's storyline. He was awesome with that kid (so sad he didn't make it in the end). Really brave that he came out in front of his co-workers to help that kid.

I really, really love John. Like, a ridiculous, possibly unhealthy amount considering he's a fictional character.
I love Lydia and her new partner, too.
Is it just me, or does Ben seem a lot different this season? He doesn't seem to be as sensitive. That's not really the best word. He doesn't seem to look at the job the same way. Maybe that's what I mean. I don't know. Just different, and not in the "oh, character growth" kind of way. But he's still hot.
Lucy Liu isn't annoying me as much as I thought she would. I actually really like her character.

I also felt sorry for John. I think it was a good ending to that story though.
ARO1018-nail on the head with Ben. He does seem pretty jaded this season, I don't know if it has something to do with being Sammy's partner? Speaking of, I wish there were more Sammy storylines, I am in LOVE with his character. Like, in LOVE.
I'm a little leary with the Lydia storyline and feel like it gets a little wompy some times. I'm curious to see how they play this one out. I'm not a huge fan of her new character either.
I mentioned once before that I do feel like Ben has changed. He's not the idealistic rookie cop that he was in the last few seasons. He knows what it's like to be on the streets and the reality of being a cop seems to have changed him.
Shirtless Sammie, holy crap. I had no idea he was rocking that bod under the uniform. Yum!
John is such a great character. I loved the interaction he had with the gay teenager. My favorite line was when he said, "I've got a lot of problems, but being gay isn't one of them'.
dpeugh, I also thought the guy stalking Tang was the same one who beat her up but it was hard to remember what he looked like. I don't mind her as much as I thought I would.
I wonder if they're going to write Lydia out of the show this season because of the pregnancy. Or if she'll lose the baby due to something that happens on the job.
I LOVE this show. In next week's previews, Lydia gets hurt. I am thinking that she will lose the baby. Is the baby daddy her old partner's son?
I saw the preview and that's part of why I think she will either lose the baby or have to work a desk job. They haven't hinted at who the dad may be but I'm guessing it would be her old partner's son. He's the guy she was most recently dating that we know of.
