Re: On top of ruining the Grammys for me...
They both led a careless life and died because of it. I don't feel sorry for them and don't want to hear about this every time I turn on the TV, computer or radio.
Why do people hold these kind of people in such high regard? I honestly don't get it.
And, that picture is just stupid.

We miss you and love you always, little firecrackers!
What? Elvis doesn't get to play? WHERE'S TUPAC?
Even this "Michael Jackson's version of Heaven" is as creepy as his life.
lol @ that photo.
I respect MJ & WH talent. This is sad for their families, but all the public hair pulling & clothes ripping over their deaths is a bit much.
Tupac and Elvis aren't dead, DUH!!!!
With rainbows shooting out its azz.
I feel like 1989 has barfed itself all over my computer.
So tired of all of the media coverage of this. I don't feel bad for a drug addict who dies from drug use.
And I thought I was an unfeeling biitch.
You DO know that drug addicts aren't just bad people who deserve to die, right?

Didn't say that. But a person like Whitney Houston has all of the resources in the world and could and should have kicked the habit.
There is just a level of ignorance in this statement that I can't even wrap my head around.

WOW, girl. I'm guessing you've never known or been close to a drug addict. This is a disgusting thing to say. Many, many drug addicts are excellent human beings.
THANK YOU!
And thinking someone who has the money will just be able to snap their fingers and kick their addiction is just unbelievable to me. Daria- do you know it takes a person (who is willing) an average of EIGHT TIMES in rehab/recovery before they actually kick their drug of choice for good. That's an AVERAGE. Even if you have the money to pack your bags and spend 3 months in Promises every time you realize you've fallen off the wagon again, chances are... you'll be using that drug mere months (if not weeks, days) after you walk out of it's doors.
Addiction doesn't discriminate by socio-economic status or celebrity. And having all the money in the world isn't going to change the chemical makeup of an addict's mind that is SCREAMING at them every.single.day that they will die without that drug.
Please, please, please... do me a favor and sit in on a few AA/NA meetings before opening your mouth on this topic again.
