House update.
Our tile is in and I am AWing because I love it. It's not grouted yet and there is still crap everywhere but my level of excitement is currently epic.
Here is a bit of our floor. Much of the floor is tarped so it was hard to get a picture. It is also a bit dirty, but you can see the variation. Keep in mind the walls are being repainted a mustard color. There is also a random piece of cut tile on top in the right corner which looks weird.
The shower wall from directly in front. I wanted to hug it. You can see a little bit into the shower. The light is out in there so it's dark. You can see the two shelves we have set up in there for bath products too.
Another perspective of the shower showing how you would see it upon entering the bathroom. I love that it wraps around the wall so it is more prominent. To the left is our closet cut out. They are still tiling the inside obviously but all the tile is supposed to be done and grouted by the end of today. Tomorrow is clean up before the carpentry, granite, paint and finishing crew starts.
Re: House update.
I LOVE both types of tile you have and kind of want to marry it as well. There are so many things I'd love to do to the new house before we move in but lots of it will have to wait. Also, painting is still the suck and we should have contracted it out, for sure. But we are also getting all of the floors (the whole house is tile) cleaned and regrouted and sealed and that took precedent over other fun stuff.
I didn't get to comment the other day in your thread but the fixtures are beautiful too! I can't wait to see the finished product.
