I am just starting to research, but....if I can run 3 miles straight (at a 10:00 or slightly faster pace) do you think I could be ready for a Ragnar in June?

Planned Races 2012
Colorado Marathon (10k) May 6
Bolder Boulder (10k) May 28
Sierras race (5k) June 2
HITS Ft. Collins (sprint) July 28
Tri for the cure (sprint) August 18
Boulder Sunset (Olympic) Sept 1
Re: Ragnar?
Are any of the legs just 3 mile runs? The one from miami to kw had one of the people running 3 mile legs, but the majority of them were 4+ miles.
Plusalso, you'd be running 3+ miles several times in a 24hr period.
I ran 22 total miles for it and to give an example of how hard that 3rd leg is, my 3 rd leg was 4.2 miles and I ran those 4 miles at the same pace I just ran my marathon at. lol Exhaustion totally sets in by leg 3 and it will be the hardest miles you've ever run. You have 3 months, so if you get shorter legs and you keep building mileage, it's possibly doable.
