Re: coley
SO MUCH BETTER! He was completely fine after a nap that afternoon and he was babbling and just seemed so much happier. I also posted yesterday in the randoms thread that he can apparently understand Spanish and was responding to the babysitter yesterday when she was talking to him. Now I'm wondering if some of his babbling was actually Spanish words and not words he didn't hear properly.
I'm trying to find a good system with the ear plugs. I guess I'm just nervous about them but a few times they have fallen out into the tub (and I've replaced those). He doesn't notice they're in at all but he loves the bath and gets really splashy and active in there and they just pop out. What brand are you using with Dagger? Any recs?
ETA: thanks for asking
"Once I got a bath bomb that, once exploded, filled the tub with confetti. Little sharp metallic pieces of confetti. The product description said nothing about confetti. Oh look, there's a tiny, sharp metallic blue star stabbing me in the labia. HOW RELAXING. " - NoisyPenguin

The doctor gave us some wax stuff that I molded into his ears but they kept falling out too.
So, then on my follow up visit I asked and was told that it was not water in the ears that was a problem, it was bacteria.
Since then, we have taken him into pools and our hot tub as well as bathed him without plugs and have never had an issue.
I am so glad he is doing well and responding to language!!
