Videos (no, I'm not making one)
I think when everyone is done w/their videos we should make one thread to put them all. Then we can vote for best one, cutest, etc.

I personally would just like as many of you to do one as possible.
Like people have said it really does make you feel a lot closer. A lot of people have different personalities that I would have never expected. I also think it makes it easier to understand a poster and how they type certain phrases because we don't really have the luxury of reading facial expressions or body language. I know that was probably my biggest motivator for doing a video, when I went to the G2G I had a few comments thrown my way about me being a lot nicer IRL. LOL.
Well I didn't know there was going to be a contest or anything! I didn't do any fancy editing nor did I ask the board for topics, so I am sure mine wouldn't win. I just did one to challenge myself because I knew it would be out of my comfort zone.
I don't want to pressure anyone to do one if they don't want to, but I am loving all of them so far and it is definitely helpful to match the voice/mannerisms to the poster and would love to see more and more as the weeks go by!
I can certainly respect someone's right to privacy and all that, but one can always just put up a video for a day or less and DD the link later, if they are truly worried about lurkers/stalkers.
I don't think I've commented on any of them individually, but I'm loving the videos! I don't think we need to turn it into a competition either. Everyone seems so sweet and nice that I want to do one just because I definitely don't think I come across that way.
I did actually start to make one, but I couldn't think of anything to talk about. I will say that it opened with me blowing out a hit of weed though. lol So if anyone has ideas, let me know and I'll try to do one tonight before H gets home.

I think one thread is a good idea. Mine was the very first one, so I have no idea what page it is on now. I think I posted is last Tuesday.

I didn't talk about meeting any nesties, that might have made my video about 10 minutes long! I just stuck to talking about myself, which I seem to do best. hah
Next time, if there's another video chat request for me, maybe I'll sneak in a peek at the doggies.
