How are you doing? Have you recently had a Dr's appointment? Just curious how much long they think it'll be before baby makes his/her appearance.. if they gave you any idea at all!

I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and another scheduled for Friday, both of which include(d) an ultrasound and NST in addition to the exam. O_x It makes for a long day! Short story: Baby and I are both in excellent health.
The doctors have no idea, sadly; my OB thought we'd be earlier than our due date thanks to dilation/effacement stuff, and here we are a week late.
So... yeah. Dunno. They won't allow me to go past 42wks, though; if Baby hasn't decided to come by then, we'll end up with an induction next week. 
I did go in for an acupuncture appointment to induce labour this evening (~4hrs ago), though, so hopefully that'll do something.
I guess we'll see!

I'm happythat you and baby are in great health and i reeeally hope that the accupuncture works it's magic and you go into labor today. I imagine going past your due date is pretty discouraging, specially if your OB expected you to deliver early! Hopefully everything goes naturally. Being induced seems so painful! Sending baby vibes!!!

Thank you! The pitocin stuff is what ultimately made me decide to try and do this naturally. O_x I hope neither of us need it!!
**hugs** Thank you!! I hope it does, too... but the practitioner said that while some women go within a couple hours, it can also take a couple of days. So... I guess we'll see! On the plus side, the sciatic pain I'd been having is hugely reduced! Which, lol, I'll take over nothing!
