s/o OOTD: Do you have a "uniform"?

We all know and love imoan's already ;)

At least 3 out of the 5 work days, I have dark wash jeans, bright solid color cardigan, top underneath, and shoes that teeter on the line between sensible and old lady.  Complete with the same silver necklace, not to mention my plastic teal glasses with fake diamonds on the sides.

I call it granny chic.

Look with your special eyes.

Re: s/o OOTD: Do you have a "uniform"?

  • My uniform is seasonal.

In the winter, I put a long-sleeved t-shirt under my regular t-shirt and wear Uggs

In the summer, I lose the long-sleeved t-shirt and replace the Uggs with Chucks.

    VOILA!

  • I tend to wear black pants most days.  I have a charcoal, a grey and a black pinstripe that I throw into the mix a couple of days a week.

My tops are usually sweaters with a contrasting cami under it.  Sometimes the cami's lace peeks out under the sweater. Sexay!  I have a couple of dressier type tops that I wear now and then, but it's usually cold here so I don't wear them too often.  My boobs are too big for button down shirts, so I don't wear those.

I have 3 pairs of shoes/boots that I wear to work in winter.  All of them are black and comfortable.  I found Clarks and am never going back to cheap shoes again!  My poor feet can actually last all day in Clarks.

ETA:  Fridays are always jeans.  I usually wear a black knit top and black boots with them (I have one with a draped neck that I love and wear every other Friday in winter).

  • Outside of the home, my uniform is jeans and a v-neck. A t when it is warm. A sweater when it is not.

Inside- pj pants and no bra.

  • When I do not leave the house, it is sweats. All the time. In the summer, it is shorts and tanks.

When I leave the house, I have no uniform.

  • No. Sometimes I think I should. My wardrobe has multiple personalities.
  • I usually wear scrubs or a pair of scrub bottoms and a t-shirt of some sort, but it usually doesn't match (think orange t-shirt with teal pants).  I'm going to work with gross things and have no one to impress.  It works for me and it follows the dress code as long as my shoes are closed toe and heel.  I'd come in sweatpants more often than I do, but my phone tends to fall out of the pocket of those when I'm sitting.

  • Jeans for me. Daily. Unless I'm going to a baptism or a wedding.
    Oh, FFS.
  • I wear a suit and shell 3-4 days per week and dress pants and sweater I can put a suit jacket over the other 1-2 work days.  Jeans and t shirts on the weekend.

  • I have more variety in the spring/summer and fall, but the winter is mostly pants, sweaters and long sleeved blouses.
  • I work in either black or grey Editor slacks from Express and a button down shirt, untucked, with a cami underneath pretty much every single day.  I don't have a huge variety of button down shirts either so they repeat (I think I have 8).  I wear either my black shoes or my brown shoes.

On the weekend, jeans and a tank top.  Flip flops in the summer, hoodie and Sanuks in the winter.

  • Jeans and a geeky gamer t-shirt. All free ones I got from PAX the Penny Arcade Gaming Expo. The most worn out pair of running shoes you've ever seen. And when I go out a grey Converse hoodie. I always wear the silver strength, courage necklace ya'll chipped in to buy me when I went into the hospital. I never take that off unless I'm doing my ECT.
  • dress pants and button up shirt.
  • dark colored leggings, boots, and tunic top most days to work in winter...or black pants and flats.

    home im jeans or sweats!

  • I wear a lot of suits, but I try to snazz them up with different tops and jewelry.  I'll mix and match too (gray tweed blazer with black pants).  On non-meeting days I'll dress down a little bit and wear slacks with a tank/cardigan on top (or something similar).  I don't wear a lot of dresses - I don't find them comfortable and I hate, HATE wearing hose.  I also layer a lot - that's a common theme for me.

On weekends I'm usually in yoga pants, a T-shirt, and a hoodie.  If I'm going out, I'll wear jeans and a nice top.

    This is my siggy.
