Window treatment question
I have a really dumb question. I am shopping for window treatments (damn, they are expensive!!!) and I'm looking to buy panels for our living room. What width should I get?
The interior of the windows (aka dimensions of the blinds) area 39.5" w x 53" h. I'm looking at buying two panels that are 50 x 63. I feel like having a combined 100" width of fabric is just too much.
Thoughts? Ideas?
Re: Window treatment question
I always go for twice as much width in material than the opening.
The panels will definitely go outside of the window frame; however, there are radiators in between the windows that would prevent us from having long panels on both sides of the windows.
I think the one longer panel per window might be what I need to do.
