Controversial TV talent Clicky Part II
Ok, this is supposed to include all the popular TV talent shows that have been on at least in the past year (if I'm missing some, feel free to list them and I'll add them)
[Poll]
Re: Controversial TV talent Clicky Part II
I was never an American Idol fan.
This is the first time I'm really watching the Voice and I like it.
I liked the first season of America's Got Talent, but haven't watched it since.
lol I could have written this reply
I think The Voice is so much better than American Idol. I've seen later episodes of American Idol where they have group songs and it's really not very good. I think they do emphasize a person's look/age/etc way too much and it's amazing what happens if you start with a good voice and then build the rest around that. Plus I like the judges and their interaction better on The Voice.
However, for this poll I chose The Sing-Off because I totally love it :P

I'll have to DVR the Sing off and report back.
And is X-factor really a talent show? I though it was just stupid people willing to eat ungodly things and do stupid stuff.
LOOL X Factor is the new one with Simon Cowell. It's just another singing competition IMO

Ugh. I would rather eat something ungodly or do something stupid before having to listen to him for an hour of my life.

um, none of these are on cable...

I've never seen any of them. I consider them similar to 'Reality TV' which I generally despise (though I did watch the full first season of 'The Bachelor' in college with my roommate because I was fascinated by the concept, and then I did watch one season of 'The Bachelorette' because the Bachelorette had dated one of DH's friends/coworkers and we'd met her so I thought that was interesting).
In general, I only watch TV if someone is getting killed (i.e. CSI, Criminal Minds) or if it involves some sort of ball (football, basketball, soccer, baseball, etc.). If it wasn't for my sports addiction, I would cancel cable entirely.
Oh...my bad...
Either way, I don't watch any of them.
