This insider trading thing is a good test
of the intentions of our representatives. I feel like it is very revealing as to whether that person is in it for personal gain or to try to better our country/make a difference.
It blows my mind that something the rest of us can go to prison for is completely acceptable for our elected officials to take part in. It is one thing for laws to be overlooked due to a person's position. It is another thing entirely for those laws to simply not apply. It makes me angry. It also makes me wonder what else I do not know.
I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns

This doesn't piss anyone else off?
Are we really more concerned with proving that we are super-lame dressers than what goes on in Congress? Oh boy.
I'm not a super lame dresser, so speak for yourself! LOL
Yes, it pisses me off, but I don't know enough of the specifics to talk to it without looking stupid.
Ha! I am. I promise.
Grrrrrr. I hate it when they talk in circles.

Oh, imoan. I know you have plenty to say about it. DH is livid.
I can't wait to see how everyone votes on this issue as it will greatly affect my perception of them.
I think it'd be nice if politicians weren't crooks.
But they're all crooks. I think always.
