Today was rough. My coworker passed away.
So my coworker, who had the massive stroke early yesterday morning, passed away today. As I've only been there a month and everyone else had known him for several years I was, a little more together than everyone else, but I'm definitely feeling their grief. I ache for them. Unfortunately, I ended up having to tell one of his long time friends, who also works at the store, but not in our department, that he'd passed. It was definitely not my favorite moment.

I'm sorry to hear that. The same thing happened at my work two weeks ago. A young manager (33) had a heart attack in the morning meeting at 8 am. He said he wasn't feeling well and went to stand up and passed out. He died the next day. Even sadder his daughter was born the day after he died. So tragic.
