QOTD - 2.16.2012

It's been awhile since we've had one, so here goes!

What is on the top of your bucket list?

Re: QOTD - 2.16.2012

  • Visit Europe.  Any place on the continent will do.  I'm not picky.

    (Working on this.)

  • Visit:

    Ireland

    Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora

    Hawaii

    St Lucia

    Greece

    Alaska

    I can't pick just 1.  Embarrassed

  • Does everyone have a bucket list now?   I don't.  I just take adventures as they come, and have hazy hopes for the future.  I'm cool with that.

  • The top of my bucket list?  As of right now?  Probably finishing school.
  • Finish remodeling my house Stick out tongue Sometimes I feel like I'll be 90 years old by the time it's all done.

Jokes aside, I'd like to buy a small lake house/cottage.

I feel like the only one who has no real desire to travel internationally.  I don't know why.  The hassle and cost of getting somewhere just doesn't seem worth it to me.

I kind of felt this way too.  I really had to think about what I'd put at the top of a list.  Even then, I still felt "meh" about it.

I don't have a formal bucket list - don't get clogged down in the wording.  :-)

Rephrase it if you wish, do you have anything you want to do before you die?

Or are you saying, if you die today you'll have done everything you wanted?

  • I guess starting a family (of the human variety, not canine) has snuck it's way to the top of list.

Ooo.  Do you have an announcement to make?

    Darn Stick out tongue

Really though, being a mom is great.  It's hard work sometimes, but it's super fun.  I never thought it'd be this much fun.

  • My easy answer is to birth this baby :) And to see my children as adults. Very interested to see what they will be like.

On real bucket list item is a Sprint tri. I love cycling, enjoy running but have never used proper form while swimming. I'll need a swim class!

  • Hoek: Maybe my DH can help. He is an avid swimmer and former Champion from HS.

Bucket List: You know I never really thought about it. There are places that I would like to go and see but I've never put it in the idea "before I die". So for right now it has to be go to Costa Rica and visit the Sloth Sanctuary.

  • yay Juli - I perked up when I saw your post.

That is funny that you posted this. The other night on my drive home from work I was thinking that I don't have an official bucket list. I  have multiple things I say I want to do, but I need to write them down. I thought about asking the hubs to write his and then one night we can compare.

Two very, very minor things I want to do is go to Chicago on St. Patricks day. I have to work this year, but I told TH that next year we are doing it.  And, I want to go to the Holiday Pops Concert - that one isn't so much of a bucket list as a "lets see if I can drop enough hits and guilt trips to get TH to take me one year"

Gulp - I might reach out to you! Haha. Mike and I were talking about planning for Fall 2013 or Spring 2014. So it is still a ways off since I won't be able to get back into exercise until this Fall.
