Suggested minimum donations (at the door) of $2 for students, and $5 for everyone else. All proceeds will support the grantmaking efforts of YWFC of Kent County.
As the first girls as grant makers program in the country, YWFC is an innovative youth leadership development and philanthropic education program created and administered by MWF. YWFC teaches high school girls leadership, community service, gender issues, philanthropy and grant making skills. It provides members an opportunity to impact their communities as decision-makers in the grant making process. This year the girls have made the issues of body image, dating violence and abuse, and homelessness of women and children their top priorities for education, volunteerism, and grant support.
