Survivor: One World 2/15 Sp
OOOHHHH...I am just so excited about Survivor coming back on tonight...Not that it has been that long lol..I am hoping the women's team kicks some serious butt...I am wondering also if anyone thinks during the season that the tribes may switch it up with it then being men and women on each tribe combined? I am sure there are going to be favorites as I am sure there are some characters again this season. Maybe they will get rid of the immunity idols because it seems they are way too easy to find..Jeff should just hand over an idol to the tribes tonight lol...Any thoughts and are you excited for the show as well?

*Disclaimer - I have a lot of thoughts rumbling around, so they probably won't come out in any particular order.
- I'm kind of annoyed that they made the 2 idols go to each tribe. I think that if you find an idol, it should be yours. If 2 idols end up on the same tribe ... thats the nature of the game. My thought is that they did it because of people like Russell (and Sabrina now) who don't need clues to find it! If I were Sabrina I'd be TICKED that I found it and had to give it up.
- I think back stabbing is going to be a lot more difficult with them all living on the same island. If you go talk to someone on the other tribe, someone is going to think you're 'plotting' and if you don't go talk to the other tribe, when the merge happens, it's going to be INCREDIBLY difficult to get on good terms with them.
- Men vs women is going to be quite interesting. I was interested when they did it based on their ethnic groups, but I think the women will be super catty (we saw it tonight) and the men will try to out alpha themselves. (Especially that group that we already see starting.)
- I felt bad that Kourtney needs to have surgery on her wrist... however ... Jeff CLEARLY said "fall on your back and hands to your chest." She did neither of these. I am sad that it happened, I am a big klutz as well .. but sometimes you do things on accident, and it is your fault. I was happy that they didn't have to send someone else home, though.
- I think its REALLY craptacular that the men didn't finish out the challenge. They were already ahead and I think that they would've won. Had they finished it out, they could've put a little more fear into the women rather than saying, "Eh .. we don't need to finish." and be arrogant.
- I'm glad theres no Redemption Island this season. I liked it when they first came out with it, but I felt like SO much time was put into showing Redemption that I missed the regular game. I wouldn't mind Exile Island though ... I think living on one island and having Exile also be a factor would be SUPER interesting.
- I def. LOL'd when the men stole things from the women when they were stripping the truck.
- I was sad for my sex when the women had to beg the men for fire. It was day 2 ... we've seen many seasons when they went much longer without water. Suck it up til at LEAST after the first challenge! What would they have done if they weren't living together?
- The challenge... I wasn't too impressed with. I dunno ... maybe because since its' now Season 24 I think jumping on to a rope and walking across a balance beam .. there should be something a little more .. difficult? (dream job...creating and trying out challenges!!)
- I was surprised that the teams got there at what appeared to be right at the same time. I would've thought that one would've been a little later ... maybe good editing?
- I want Leif (the little person) to go very far.

I like the redemption is gone and it should be interesting to see men vs. women and to see them all live in the same camp. I was annoyed when they all got to camp and immediately started separating and turning cold shoulders. I would've been like, oh sweet, let's take advantage of this and work together. What a bunch of jerks.
I don't like any of the guys thus far except the little dude. I don't like the one Alpha male who stole the girls' stuff, nor the other Alpha who got all biitchy about Chelsea catching two chickens and not giving him one. She caught it, she gets to decide what to do with it. You already stole their stuff, back the eff off. He was just pissed that he's too much of a wuss to catch one himself.
On the girls' side, I like Sabrina and Kat, the chick with the short blonde hair. I do feel bad for Kourtney, sucks to have to leave after the first challenge. But seriously, Jeff clearly stated how to safely take that fall, and none of them were doing it right. See that one lady bash her face in? I'm surprised there were no other serious injuries. And as far as the challenge being kind of lame, I'm assuming the challenge-makers are a little challenged themselves this season in making challenges that are not strength-based. But there could've been a puzzle or something.
I immediately dislike Alicia. Someone is always bound to have a generally nasty personality, though, and she's it. I can't stand when people seek out negativity and immediately start scheming and talking shiit. And calling out the other girl at tribal was low...give your mouth a rest, lady. That was embarrassing for womankind.
Anywho, I'm kind of excited for this season. I was getting REALLY sick of them bringing past players back.

I am geussing the only reason they have the two idols is to try and force the players to work with eachother a little bit. Sure it does suck to find it and not get to keep it, but it can get you a little bit of favour with a member of the opposite team which could come in handy for merge.
I hated the women. They should have shared the chicken as promised.
I also think the men should have taken immunity but offered to share the reward.
