I think he was definitely involved - he told Emily (RANE) that he would have it all taken care of by the time she got rid of the box.
I didn't see it coming that Daniel would be ok. I was really shocked!

I agree with all of this but the bold. I actually said awhile ago when Tyler was still cuckoo loco in the Hamptons that I thought maybe he was the one dead on the beach. I rewatched the pilot engagement scene like, 100times trying to figure it out. I wavered about it recently, but should have trusted my gut.

OMG. I absolutely LOVED last night's episode.
I will agree Tekada had something to do with everything that went down. He definately made that reference to Emily. I'm just wondering why all of a sudden he is helping her. The last time we saw him he tried to convince Emily to drop the revenge plot and just be happy. I wonder if what Daniel had said about running away to Paris changed his mind, or if he didn't see that as an opportunity to set Daniel up and help Emily's plan. I also wonder if he didn't help get Tyler out sooner.
I knew Tyler wasn't gone forever, and when he showed up I thought he was the shooter.
I think it's crappy that Victoria rained on Daniel's parade and tried to expose Emily as a gold digger. I figure at this point Emily has more money that Victoria.
Maybe he was watching as Tekada shot Tyler? I don't remember the pilot exactly but did they show him physically getting shot or just his face while you heard a gunshot and his reaction?
It looked like Daniel got shot and then fell on the beach in the previews? Did he get shot or hit in the head by Tyler before Tyler was shot?
