Chicago runners

I'm looking for recommendations of where to run from downtown. Distances of 4-10 miles preferably.

I don't want to put the name of our hotel on here, but if you need more specifics please send me a PM. Thanks!

If you will be downtown, go to the Lakefront and run on the path north to and through Lincoln Park. The path is 15 miles long. You can go all the way from downtown to Hollywood. No need for any other recommendations.

Clarification - it's 15 miles from Museum of Science & Industry, which is South of downtown. Probably 6-7 miles from downtown to Hollywood.

I've run every inch of the lakefront path multiple times, so it's a perfect place to run from anywhere downtown. You will get the best scenery by running north, depending on where your hotel is. Once you run south past the museum campus and soldier field, the view south is pretty boring until you turn around to run north. Keep in mind that the water fountains are turned off until March (although one was on today in the park since it was 45 degrees), so bring your own water if you need it. Are you in town for business or pleasure?
