Yay: My brother's high school talent show was tonight. He and his friend did Rihanna's The Way You Lie on their guitars and were a HUGE hit with the crowd.
Boo: The judges awarded the prize to a kid who screamed their high school mascot name in the microphone and called it rapping. The mayor was one of the judges. Needless to say, she won't be getting my vote this election.
Re: Yay and boo
Yay- My husband and I had amazing burgers for dinner
Boo- My husband and I had amazing burgers for dinner that caused heart burn
And another yay for funsies:
I left work an hour early so H and I could go to dinner.
Oh, and my phone works again!
Yay: I found out today that my H's days off are finally changing and we're so happy! He's had the worst days off (Tues and Wed) for a few years now...those are the same days he has court so he never gets a full day off. Now he's getting Wed and Thurs, so he'll have one full day off every week. He really needs that break from work to rest and have fun.
Boo: My right ovary has been hurting the last few days and I'm worried I might have another cyst. It's not too painful, just annoying. Hopefully it will go away on its own.
KDuv - Yay for your hubbs! I totally get that! Boo for you. I hope it goes away soon.
Me:
Yay: D's brother, who he has not had the best relationship with for the past decade, came out with us to our usual Thursday night festivities and had fun! They're really starting to connect again and I'm stoked!
Boo: My own brother texted and was kind of a d!ck. Also, D's brother thought our single female friend was hot when he met her tonight, and we're both kind of skeeved out by it. Not because of either of them (they'd actually be really good together), but because it's horrible timing and they'd end up flings for each other.
Yay: I made the most amazing cupcakes I've possibly every had, and my mom cooked me a super-comforty-food dinner.
Boo: Said food gave me a killer bellyache. I'm also not looking forward to work tomorrow because I just can't seem to get enough sleep the past few nights. I am DRAINED. Looking forward to my three day weekend!
Yay: the scale went to a number I haven't seen in forever.
Boo: I wish I had today off.
Yay: I got my arse to the gym this morning at 6am and did intervals on the dreadmill
Boo: My post workout high has worn off and now I want to take a nap
I'm going to start with a boo so I can end with a yay.
Boo- see my crappy post about my crappy morning morning and my crappy start to the crappy rainy day.
Yay-I have a weekend of non-stop fun ahead of me and I have Monday off too. My BFF is sleeping over and Monday we are watching movies and not getting out of our pajamas.
Yay: I was told I smelled ravishing and looked beautiful this morning by a random stranger.
Boo: I am not really feeling either of those things today, I am still tired.
Another yay: It is the Friday before a 3 day weekend!!
Boo: I don't get Monday off.
Yay: I will have fun tonight and tomorrow to make up for it!
Yay: It's Friday
Boo: It's 8 AM
Yay: We are going to the Casinos and we ended up getting a suite for free (a b-day present from one of H's friend).
Boo: I'm sleepy, I'm about to rectify this situation asap with LOADS of caffeine!
But you work at a college. That is completely unacceptable! I demand to see a supervisor!
Boo: I haven't had breakfast yet
Yay: It's Friday/Payday/I'm going up north in 7 hours.
No presidents for us. Anarchyyyyyy!
Ha! I feel the same. Is it 5:00 yet?
Yay: I have Monday off.
Boo: MH doesn't.
Yay: I'm off until Monday.
Boo: I have to spend the weekend in our hometown with my family and the IL's.
