Quick update because I'm at work.
Went to the GI today. He thinks its an ulcer. This type of ulcer is from a bacterial infection you get as a child and then as an adult you get ulcers and possibly stomach cancer. My mom has ulcerative colitis so that is always a concern too. I have to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy next Friday. Just a tad freaked.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
I do have a prescription on the assumption it is an ulcer and if that is what it is I should feel better soon. Also, I forgot the "good news." If it is an ulcer from this bacterial infection and nothing more it is totally treatable with a course of meds and no surgery will be needed. So that is a good thing. I guess the meds can cause birth defects so it would mean waiting for another baby -- but we dont' have any immediate plans to TTC anyways.

Keep us posted. Let's hope it's only something minor that the meds can take care of!!

The procedures themselves aren't bad, but I think if I was in your situation I would be freaked out a bit too. The good news is that you might finally have an answer as to what is really going on, right?
Sending a bunch of vibes your way.
