I think I'm officially giving up on this season after last night's episode. My intense dislike of the Heifer Sisters, Sarah and Lindsay, pretty much reached a boiling point last night. I was screaming at the TV when they each hugged Bev and acted like they were sad she was going home.
Ughhhhh I hope Paul makes them look like warmed over hambuger helper in the final. Which I will not be watching. Because I gave up on the show.
I was so disappointed in the challenges too. Since when did Top Chef become a show about the next zanny challege, instead of a show about FOOD. I'm still miffed at how stupid the challenges have been this season, and they keep getting worse.
Thoughts?
Re: Top Chef 02.15 *Spoilers*
I can't wait to see the shame on Sarah's and Lindsay's face (and Heather's!) when they point out their behavior on the reunion show. And then the hugging last night when Bev was sent home, so fake.
I hated the challenge last night, though I took great pleasure in seeing Sarah fall on her skis a couple times. I was hoping Bev would send her packing her knives. Paul better rise above those two girls in the finale!
LOL the heifer sisters. This may. Not be PC but I do not trust an overweight chef and wonder if they are usin healthy ingredients. i keptvthi king of the hypocrisy of buggingbBe early when you knew the sistas were thrilled to see her sent packing. Go Paul.
I knew they would never "allow" Bev to be in the final three. And I really believe it was totally set up so Sarah and Bev were competing one-on-one for the final spot.
And how lame is it that next week won't be the final? Another episode to eliminate one more person before it is a final 2. Way to drag it out with two people in the final 3 that have made themselves completely unlikeable for weeks.
Team Paul!
I spent a lot of time last night making

faces at the TV.
I was so pleased to see Paul help the others because he thought that aspect of the competition was stupid. I couldn't believe that those were their competitions to get to the finals....ridiculous.
I was really pulling for Bev....what a fighter! I was kind of meh about Paul, but I am pulling for him now for sure. The mean girls must be stopped.
I'm sorry, but this is uncalled for. She never claimed to be a healthfood chef. She cooks Italian food - pasta, cheese, full fat goodness. So what if she packs on a few extra pounds? That means you can't trust her as a chef? Why? Is her weight directly correlated to her cooking skills? Or her flavor palette?
I'm rooting for Paul simply because I can't stand Sarah or Lindsey's attitudes in the kitchen.
I've hated this whole season and I really think they've jumped the shark now. Paul is who I want to win, but I don't think ANY of them (and I mean all of the contestants the whole season) are really Top Chef quality.
I thought the ice block and shooting challenges were absurd, but I kinda liked them cooking in the gondola.
MoFree, your comment holds ZERO WEIGHT. It's so ridiculous I don't even know where to begin.
Have you seen Mario Batali or Jose Andres? They're among the best chefs in the world. And yeah, they're overweight. I'd eat their food every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I just can't even begin to comment on this.
I was annoyed at the episode as well. I was really hoping that bev would beat out lindsay at least.
And I agree that the "challenge" was so stupid--aren't they supposed to be testing their cooking abilities? Not shooting or skiing or how to make food in a freezing gondola. They should be challenged in difficult real-world possible circumstances, or at least something close to a real-world circumstance.
Go Paul!
This challenge would have been fun early in the competition, like the bike challenge.
At this point in the competition, I want to see them COOK THEIR HEARTS OUT, not navigate skis and a frying pan at the same time.
THIS! Go Paul!

Completely agree. I think this was a bit obvious with Paul when he helped the other two get stuff out of the ice because it didn't matter because it was about the food.
I think you guys are being too hard on Sarah. Time has past since they were last there and she realized that Beverly was a force to be reckoned with. Honestly, I'd be a bit pissed if someone came back who was eliminated - I think this came up in some other show. While she had to do last chance kitchen, she didn't do all the quick fire and elimination challenges that the others had to do successfully.
I also think she played the victim a bit, perhaps not on purpose, but I cannot imagine having work with someone in a kichen who is so passive!
Sarah also didn't have to do the most important elimination challenge, remember?
It wasn't only Lindsey and Sarah who couldn't stand Bev. Every person who was on a team with her disliked her (even the men) - because she wasn't a good team player. Unless you are all alone in your kitchen, being a Chef means being a leader -whether you lead quietly or loudly. It was clear on prior seasons that being able to lead was critical for being Top Chef. Bev was only in it for herself on every.single.challenge.
I am SO annoyed that next week is yet another elimination challenge to get rid of one mroe chef. Could they draw this out anymore?
And on the Bev hate... eh, for one, I do think Sarah had a bit of a change of heart. But also remember that there is a TON of editing done. I think the "Bev hate" coming from Lindsay and Sarah may be a bit produced. As someone else said, I think a lot of people found Bev odd/ hard to work with - it wasn't just them. But they are editing it to make it seem like ti's really those two who are out for her.

I hate Bev.
I hate Sarah.
I hate whoever's making up these "challenges".
I hate Texas.
Like I said however many episodes ago, this is the Worst Season Ever.
This has nothing to do with being politically correct. It's a stupid comment.
LOL at "healthy ingredients." Do you know how they cook with in restaurants (cream, butter, etc)?
This is exactly what I was going to say. I want a chef that enjoys there food and I want my delicious food cooked in butter and cream.
